Ezra Home Care Celebrates 5 Year Anniversary.

This month, Ezra Home Care celebrates its 5 year anniversary of providing reliable, individualized, compassionate, and confidential care to our clients.

From our Executive Director, Alexander Schechter:

5 years ago, I founded Ezra Home Care on the straightforward principles of providing peace of mind for family members while providing care and safety to our clients.

I recognize that finding the right caregiver requires more than just matching a list of needs with a caregiver’s skill set.  I find that it is equally important that we place a caregiver in your home that you and your family can develop a personal bond with.  That’s why all of our clients have an opportunity to meet with more than one caregiver during our planning stages if necessary.

Our company has evolved over the years.  In our 5 years, we have developed 8 specialized care programs.  We have provided services to over 450 clients.  We have employed over 100 caregivers.  We are proud to now be considered a full-service home care company.

With nurses on our staff, we are prepared to consult in and provide exceptional care even in complex medical cases.  Our caregivers receive regular professional development training including our “Stop and Watch” Program which guides our caregivers in reporting levels of concern about a client’s condition. Other ongoing training is provided on special care needs for conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, diabetes, post-surgical care and more. I am also proud to have developed the Miron Schechter Holocaust Survivor Program, named in honor of my own grandfather.

As I reflect on the growth and development of Ezra Home Care, I am proud to report that the original fundamentals, on which I started this company, are still the driving force for how we operate today.

We care for your loved one – as we would want someone to care for OUR loved one.

We have never lost track of this all-important principle.  We understand that everyone is different and has his or her own individual needs and preferences. With open, transparent communications and skilled staff, we provide individualized care for each of our clients.

I look forward to continuing this mission of providing meaningful services to those who require extra help in their home.

With Gratitude,

Alexander Schecter
