Caregiver of the Month - Esther Smith


estherEsther Smith is a Certified Nursing Assistance who has received great reviews from the clients she worked with.

She has been a caregiver with Ezra Home Care for almost one year and is originally from North Carolina.

Esther lives in Mattapan with her husband and loves to babysit her grandchildren in her free time.

Esther has a little furry dog who she enjoys playing with.  She also enjoys going fishing with her mother, which brings her some quiet and peaceful time. She is a licensed fisher.  Her favorite movie is "Roots".

Esther loves providing one-on-one care and demonstrating her compassion towards others. She states that "it feels good just knowing that my clients are well cared for."

 She started her career as a caregiver on the surgical floor at the VA Hospital by assisting with open heart dressing, wound dressing, etc. She has loved it ever since.
