Susan brings to Ezra Home Care more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Her infectious enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for helping others, is a welcome addition.
With a proven track record for increasing brand awareness, market share, and revenues, inside and outside of healthcare, Susan has worked with some of Boston’s largest acute care hospitals including Partners Healthcare and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as well as senior care organizations including Hebrew Senior Life, and the Home Care Aide Council of Massachusetts, and others.
Why Senior Care? Susan’s passion for seniors started when she was a child. Favorite memories include eating her maternal grandmother’s yummy french-toast and fabulous sweet potatoes, and speaking with her entrepreneurial paternal grandparents for hours about building and running a business!
Today, she enjoys volunteering with seniors with her standard poodle, Shadow; they are a certified dog-therapy team. It was these visits that fueled Susan’s determination and desire to dedicate the rest of her career to improving the lives of those in need.
Fun Facts: Susan has been playing the cello since she was 10 years old. She performs regularly with The Longwood Symphony Orchestra, Boston’s medical community orchestra, and is the founder of the Romance Chamber Players chamber music ensemble. She holds a U.S. Patent for a massage device designed to help reduce chronic muscle pain.
Susan is a Wellesley College graduate, and as part of her desire and commitment to helping improve home healthcare, earned her Home Health Aide certification from the State of Massachusetts in March 2016.
